Veeves loves bug spray...I just try to avoid the bugs...

With the monsoons rolling through bugs are coming out to play in full force. Last night we were cleaning out Brian's car and the june bugs were every where. They kept flying in my hair and running into my leg. Dingy creatures really! We also have had some new visitors.
The Palo Verde beetle

And are good friend the trantula

They don't really bother us but they are big, nasty and I don't want them to touch me. We went to bed around 10:15 pm last night and I woke up at 10:56 pm (I looked at the alarm clock) screaming. Like seriously, jumped out of the bed, startled Brian screaming. I had a VIVID dream that there was a trantula crawling on our bed right by my face. It was entirely too real of a dream. Brian and I moved all the covered, he looked under the bed, then he laughed at me...go figure. That was a crazy moment.

Lyndsey found a job prospect in Tucson. The U of A has a position available in the theater department. She hasn't applied for it yet nor has she spoken with anyone on at the University...but wouldn't that be CRAZY if she got a job in Tucson. I thought that was pretty exciting!

Brian and I are planning a trip to go visit Veeves in October or November of 2010! I have a year-ish to start saving my pennies! I can't wait!!!!

Here is a fabulous picture of Brian and I having way too much fun with the camera during our 4th of July Extravaganza at the Dycus family home!!

I had a dream like that once about a snake - sooo scary! I feel your pain!

I didn't know Lyndsey was looking for jobs - it would be so fun to be near your sister! Maybe she should get a job in Austin! Let's get the Texas ball rolling!

Also, nice pic! If I didn't know you two were married, I'd think you were nasty. :) Love you guys!!

I'm gonna go ahead and not leave a comment about the picture of you two!

I am SO excited we've got an idea of when yall will come!!!! Hopefully by that time I'll be able to have a clue what's going on. And you'll have plenty of time to prep Brian on the vegetables he's going to need to eat while here.

I didn't know about LAG and the job either, and I talked to her yesterday! And btw, I am on a computer in the Internet Cafe and going to town! Probably won't get this chance again...the crowds show up tomorrow.

Um, thanks CC. Chez, I'm ALWAYS looking for work since there's always the fear that whatever show I'm working on will be my last, and I've started checking out various college theatre programs looking for professors...and was shocked to find a suitable position at UofA. Did find out they'd already hired the position by the time I saw the posting, but still - it was funny. (But hey...if you hear that UT or the Zach Scott are looking for stage managers, you know where to find me!)
